Half Page
Sometimes referred to as "half page". This format provides a larger space for advertisers to get their message across and can offer users rich engagement. This ad style is 300 pixels wide by 600 pixels high, and because of it's large size, you have great flexibility with design.
Screen Position
This ad style, like the other Skyscraper ad's, is best used on the sidebars of the page. Often seen on the right side, but the left works great as well.
Increase Revenue
The 300x600 is one of the fastest growing sizes by impressions and is indicative of a trend where publishers are offering more visually impactful ad sizes that are preferred by brand advertisers.
Single Ad
The Standard Single ad style is your most common placement style. Useful for nearly any single ad type. With the hover effects this add style easily increases user engagement and interest. When hovering over the headline the text becomes underlined.

One of the best optional features is the call to action button. This is recommended if you want to draw the user into a single area on your add. Very effective tool for increasing click through rates.
Double Ad
Compared to the single ad placement, this ad will contain two unique ad's within the same "half page" placement. This ad is extremely effective on blog and news type sites. This ad is also a great tool for those who also want to split test two different ads at the same time.

This add has hover effects that are similar to the single ad style. Obviusly due to the fact that there is two ad's within the same space you are restricted to less customization due to the trade off of having two ads within the same space.
3 Ad Panel
With the 3 ad panel you start to get to the area where the half page ad really starts to shine. You are able to split test many different ad styles all within the same space, further increasing your probablity of finding an ad type that converts effectively.

We recommend trying out this or the 5 ad style to really hone in on your targetting to further increase your effectiveness.
5 Ad Panel
Like the 3 ad style, this is an extremly effective way to test multiple placements all within the "half page placement". The obvious difference is that you have a focus ad on top, which, with Avid Ad Server, you are able to alternate. This is an extremely effective tool if you are unsure which of your ads will best target your audience.

We recommend testing this ad out to get a feel for your audience. Pick 3 or 5 ads you want to test and give it a whirl. You'll find your conversion rates skyrocketing.
